Soho
The Last Victim
In March, 1967 a seventeen boy from Cardiff attending drama school at RADA becomes embroiled in the nightlife when he starts working in a record store in the heart of Soho, befriending a young prostitute who is then found murdered.
Meanwhile police investigate the rape of a victim who has suffered a vicious attack in Soho but who seems reluctant to help the police find their attacker. The victim is a man, a famous TV presenter and reporter, married with children. He is bi-sexual and the law has yet to be changed and homosexuality is still illegal and this will ruin his career. He was planning on exposing Gangland Soho and who controlled prostitution and more in the area and the attack was obviously a warning.
The boy is drawn into the investigation as he tries to discover who killed his friend.
Whitechapel
The Light
Local residents start seeing a light shining at night through their bedroom windows or even under their bedroom door. They are subsequently found dead, of apparent natural causes, but it soon becomes apparent they have been literally scared to death; and then the murders become horrifically violent. Is it a copycat of the area’s most famous resident from a century or more ago?
Camden Town
The Final Act
An out of work actor is trying to build his social media presence through live footage on Tik Tok and Facebook, but he becomes the main suspect when an actress in the local theatre company is murdered. Using his social media ‘friends’ he asks for their help to prove his innocence, clear his name and find the real killer but it soon becomes apparent that that’s not going to be easy as the actress had changed her name and appearance several times, hiding very dark secrets.
Hampstead Heath
The Girl on the Carousel
Fairs have been held on Hampstead Heath since the mid-1800’s, covering vast areas of East Heath to Spaniard’s Walk. Today though, at night, when the fair is closed, the spirit of a young girl rides the carousel, waiting for her love to return from war as she has done for years, before dying of a broken heart but then she meets a travelling salesman from the early 1900’s, The Dream Seller, who sells potions and lotions at the fair but who also offers to sell the young girl her dream for two pennies. A grandmother takes her two grandchildren to the heath one night and they witness the fair and the carousel and become involved in the girl’s dream.
